My name is Brett LaRue, and I was born and raised in Douglas County, Kansas. I graduated from Free State High School in 2001 and later obtained a degree in Business from Baker University--graduating magna cum laude. I have worn many hats in my 18 years since graduating high school, and I have been involved in almost every aspect of the construction trade at one time or another. I have been an electrician apprentice, a handyman, a home remodeler, a general contractor, a Realtor--and just about everything in between!
I was also a law enforcement officer for about 12 years, and I faithfully served my community until I suffered a career-ending back injury. After deliberating for a long time about the ways in which I could continue to serve my beloved community, I decided that being a home inspector was the absolute best fit for my both my family and me. However, even with my extensive knowledge of the residential construction industry, I felt I needed to get the most comprehensive education available so that I could ensure I was providing the best services to my clients. I found the best education was with InterNACHI, the International Association of Certified Home Inspectors. After months of training and classes, I attained the designation of Certified Professional Inspector, or CPI.
I vow to serve you, my client, with integrity, professionalism, dedication, and attention to detail. I will utilize the knowledge and training I have in the residential construction industry combined with the education I received from InterNACHI to make sure you get the most thorough home inspection possible at an affordable and honest price. I would like to personally thank you for choosing LaRue Inspection Service, LLC. for your home inspection needs, and I look forward to serving you!
